Sunglasses
are a summer essential. And fortunately (or unfortunately), they can also make
or break your outfit! Here are some tips when choosing:
- Stay
away from cheaper plastic sunglasses, they are sure to break. Pick brands that
are durable such as Ray-Ban and Oakley.
- Try
to avoid white. I feel like guys look awkward in white sunglasses.
- Not
sure on style? Go with classics, such as aviators or wayfarers.
- Higher
end sunglasses, such as Gucci or Tom Ford, are awesome to own. But only get
these if you’re good at keeping up with stuff.
- Pick
out frames that fit your face. Just because you look a particular frame,
doesn’t mean it’s for you.
And
for those who wear prescription glasses, like I’ve recently begun having to do,
use these tips as well! But there’s a bonus rule for this one.

- Pick
out frames that are neutral. Unless you plan on buying multiple frames, don’t
go to crazy with them. Remember, you have to wear them everyday. Go with black
or Tortoiseshell for a timeless look.
