Versace 1, Cheap Knock Offs 0
It may have taken over 4 years, but luxury Italian fashion brand Versace has officially won it’s case to stop the distribution of knock off items on Ebay. “Counterfeit goods not only bring a dilution of the brand, but are connected to organized crime, child labor and harmful working conditions,” said Versace chief executive officer Gian Giacomo Ferraris. “We are very pleased with the ruling. Versace is a brand that is well known around the world, and the violation of its intellectual property rights is a problem that the company has always been actively fighting. One cannot take pride in being counterfeited.” People who think they may have been ripped off are urged to use the site Certilogo to check the authenticity of their products.

Beyoncé, Untouchable?
Reportedly, when Beyoncé first saw the images of her, shot for H&M’s 2013 summer campaign, she was not happy! She received photos of herself that were very airbrushed and didn’t truly represent her. Like the true diva that she is, Bey demanded that the photos she got not be used and instead, the untouched pictures be presented to the world. While no official word has been given by Mrs. Carter’s camp, H&M has allegedly confirmed that the photos are indeed 100% Beyoncé.

Abercrombie Ain’t For Everybody
Remember a few weeks back when Abercrombie & Fitch’s CEO Mike Jeffries’ comments from a 2006 interview went viral? He said that A&F “[goes] after the attractive all-American kid with a great attitude and a lot of friends,” continuing, “A lot of people don’t belong [in our clothes], and they can’t belong.” Wow. What a douche. Sounds like someone is stuck in high school! Good thing is, they got hit hard. Abercrombie reported a first quarter loss of $7.2 million, which means it’s stock sank by more than 10%! And now, a former employee is saying that she had to squeeze into the second largest size they had, which was a size 8 (no L or XL available in shirts for girls, btw), and had to diet to stay that way! If not, she would be forced to wear the guys clothing! Crazy, right!? This story is starting to make headlines everywhere! Let’s see how A&F handles this one!
