Stripe Sweater by Joe Fresh
This week’s pick is
from a Canadian imported brand, that I’ve recently discovered, entitled “Joe
Fresh”. Joe Mimran, who also founded “Club Monaco”, created the brand. They
began with the launch of Joe Fresh Style in 2006, which was featured in 40
supermarkets supermarkets across Canada. While growing rapidly over the next 4
years, the company was rebranded simply as “Joe Fresh” and they opened their
first flagship and freestanding store in Vancouver. In 2011 they opened their
first US store in New York and followed with 5 more across the state and into
Long Island. In 2012 “Fresh” collaborated with JC Penny to feature their
clothing in their stores. So far they are available in almost 700 stores and
online, but woman and children online only (not sure about in JCP). So in order
to get this week’s item, you’ll probably need to visit your local Joe Fresh
store since they don’t have an online shop. I first spotted this awesome
sweater in this month’s GQ on their “50 under $50” spread. It’s bold stripes
and shoulder button’s really make the sweater pop. Pair it with flat front
shorts or chinos for an amazing look.
